Meet Dan Giroux
Founder and Manager of The Catholic Shop
Dan is a lifelong Catholic and native of Detroit. He attended Servite High School and studied Finance at Michigan State. Later, he went on to get a Masters in Catechetics from Christendom College’s Notre Dame Graduate School in Arlington, Virginia.
He opened the Catholic Shop in Madeira, Ohio in 1998 and has served the religious and spiritual needs of countless Catholics since that time.
Dan believes that The Catholic Shop came to be through the intercession of St. Joseph who is the patron of the Shop and its mission. Another of Dan’s projects is the GoToJoseph.com website, which is dedicated to spreading devotion to this great saint.
Dan and his wife, Jenn, celebrated 30 years of marriage this year and love nothing more than to be surrounded by their large family on a regular basis.
